CLHS jointly hosted the “The Trend of Teaching and Researching of Legal History” seminar with Center of Fundamental Jurisprudence of Chengchi University completely successfully on Dec. 21, 2019.  

The seminar was hosted by CLHS’President Chen, Den-Wu along with speakers for each subject as listed below:
1. Prof. Suzuki Hidemitsu: “The Latest Oriental Legal Studies in Japan: The Introduction of Research Environment & Trends”
2. Prof. Chiu, Peng-sheng: “The Road of Multi-discipline Conversation: The Research Group of Taiwan Legal History Studies”
3. Prof. Lee, Yu-Hs: “The Research Status of Taiwan’s Legal History Studies in Latest Years”

Later on, Prof. Huang, Yuan-Sheng, Prof. Chan, Chun-Keung and Prof. Chen, Hwei-Syin gave their comments and observations to the lecturers based on their research experience.  The seminar should have certain help to clarify the tread of legal history and the resources needed to strengthen this field.
