To facilitate the members and those who interested in knowing how Chinese Legal History Society (CLHS) use the funds on time, starting from Jan. 2015, CLHS decided to present the financial data in short-format on quarterly basis instead of showing the petty cash account and running account on annually. The financial reports can be easily seen in our website at: http://www.clegalhistory.org/index.php?action=financial-report. By changing the way of presenting the financial data, it will be easier for everyone to understand the latest in and out amount and to minimize the possible misunderstanding of having two accounts. Furthermore, CLHS will also disclose the annual final report in details after the joint Board of Directors/Supervisors meeting in the same website.
CLHS is a non-profit organization and the most of the income comes from the donation, member fee and the sales of Journal of Legal History Studies (JLHS). Hence, it is our obligation to disclose the details honestly how the fund is used. If the donators reveal his/her intention not to disclose his/her names, CLHS will only reveal the surname of the donator/s instead of full name. The name of the donators will be disclosed in the website at: http://www.clegalhistory.org/index.php?action=contributions-matters.
